Dr. Benjamin Warfel is a graduate of Lancaster’s McCaskey High School and Bucknell University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Dr. Warfel was an NCAA Division I varsity wrestler at Bucknell. He earned his medical degree at Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey. Following medical school, Dr. Warfel completed his internship in medicine and surgery at the Presbyterian/University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, followed by a three year specialty residency in Physiatry at the New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Warfel continues to hold a Clinical Assistant Professorship at Cornell University College of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Physiatry, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (evaluation of peripheral nerve trauma and disease). Dr. Warfel is very active in the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, where he has served on the Professional Practice Committee, Course Committee, and Educational Podcast Committee. He has also served on the Website Patient Information Task Force, and is currently AANEM’s Pennsylvania State Liaison. He has performed over 13,000 electrodiagnostic evaluations in Lancaster County.
